Here are the Points to be Noted:

1.Mohenjodaro was discovered in 1922 under the supervision of RD bannerji.
2.This site was located on the banks of river Indus in sindh.
3.This site is the largest site among the Indus valley sites.
4.It is also called as Mound of dead or Nikilistan (Garden city).
5.The most important construction here was “Great Bath”.
6.The Largest building constructed here was “Great Granary”.
7.Assembly hall, propel planned houses with a kitchen and courtyard have been found here.
8.Bronze statue of a naked girl in dancing post with neckles, hand ornaments, ear rings and full of gold bangles on her right hand was found.
9.The statue of a naked girl belongs to the “Proto-Astroloid” phase.
10.A seal of “Pasupati Mahadeva” was found here.
11.Maximum number seals are found in Mohenjodaro.
12.Lime and gypsum mortal was used here to give more strength to drains.
13.7 layers were found in Mohenjodaro city depicts that the city was destroyed and rebuilt seven times.
